Today I decided to write about another men’s sexual health drug: Adam’s Desire. While it seems to be mostly for erectile dysfunction, the makers claim that it helps with premature ejaculation as well.
Adam’s Desire is very popular in Nigeria. It is usually bought directly from local pharmacies but is also available online from Jumia.
I looked at the ingredients and they are all available from regular health food stores. It contains quite a curious array of substances:
- Epimedium Extract (Epimedium brevicornum)
- Muira Puama Extract (Ptychopetalum olacoides)
- Maca (Lepidium meyenii)
- Tribulus Extract (Tribulus terrestris)
- Panax Ginseng
- Damiana (Tumera aphrodisiaca)
- Ginkgo Etract (Ginkgo biloba)
- Cayenne (Capsicum annuum) (capsaicin)
In particular, Damiana is a strange one. I remember this used to be sold as a legal alternative to Marijuana. Maca, which is made from Peruvian horseradish, is interesting. I have personally tried this and it definitely increases libido, however I am not sure if that would HELP with early ejaculation. Also, this is best taken as a powder, and in fairly large quantities. That’s why I don’t think the quantity in this pill will help much.
Final Thoughts
